Likewise, our leathers are shipped rolled and in boxes that we must purchase. Consider a design that is stripes. If the stripes run across the 54" width of the fabric, the design is considered railroaded. If the stripes run up the continuous length of the fabric, then the design is not railroaded.Similarly if the fabric design is a flower, if it lays across the 54" fabric width rather than being oriented up and down the continuous length, it is a railroaded design.
